Working primarily with stoneware and porcelain, I create handbuilt pieces of contemporary sculpture. My work looks at mythology within different cultures and explores the relationships that we have with myths and legends through the lense of the natural world.

In many ancient cultures, animals were often used as vehicles for story telling. My work aims to imbue these now often endangered animals with the strength and god like power that they once held within the stories and beliefs of the ancient world.
