My art is a journey of excitement in the discoveries made along the way.

My passion is to experiment with new techniques, media, subject matters; sometimes frustrating, often joyful, but always something new and inspiring to learn.
In the past couple of years my focus has been on portraiture, particularly exploring charcoal, but also experimenting with mixed media……..charcoal with spray stains, with pastels, cold wax, some collage elements……

This year I started a series of Lockdown landscapes, but will soon be returning to my first love of charcoal portraits!
