I am a contemporary artist and paint in oil. I tend to use line and colour to convey my relationship to my subject. My work is influenced by the post impressionists, particularly expressionism, and artists such as Cezanne, Vlaminck and Bomberg.

My subjects are often drawn from the natural world and convey my love of landscapes and cityscapes with which I have a strong connection. I rarely paint using conventional perspective and like to paint using either flat or multiple perspective. I love the texture of oil paint and use both scraper and brush to exploit that potential.
